Dr. Meghan Sullivan Walsh was born and raised in Huntington, New York. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1998 and attended Haverford College, graduating as a Music major and Spanish minor in 2002. It was then on to Temple University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2007. Simply Beautiful Smiles was proud to welcome “Doctor B For Kids, Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics” (Langhorne, PA) to our family of practices in 2016 and Dr. Sullivan Walsh is a valuable member of the Dr. B For Kids team. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and her patients affectionately call her, “Dr. Meghan”. Her goals as a provider are to establish a comfortable and safe environment for her patients while leaving them with a positive impression for lifelong dental health.
While attending Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr. Meghan met her husband, John Walsh. After their graduation in 2007 John became an active duty NAVY Dentist and for 9 years was stationed in different locations including North Carolina, Rhode Island, Illinois and Okinawa, Japan. This not only gave John and Meghan a chance to see different parts of the country and the world, but also provided the opportunity to practice dentistry in different settings.
While at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dr. Meghan was accepted into St. Joseph’s Hospital Pediatric Dental Residency in Providence, Rhode Island where she graduated in 2012. While she loved General Dentistry, her true passion was treating children, particularly those with Craniofacial and Special Needs.
Dr. Meghan is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomats, American Dental Association and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. In 2012 Dr. Meghan was awarded the Mary J. Hauk Scholarship from the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association for outstanding service to children with Craniofacial needs. She is certified in Naso-Alveolar Molding, an orthopedic device used for infants born with cleft lip and/or palate.
After 9 years of military service the Walsh family returned to Pennsylvania to raise their two young boys, Patrick and Michael. Outside of work and raising her boys, Dr. Meghan enjoys music and sports. She plays both the violin and piano and regularly competes in triathlons.
